Dr Uma is a senior Technology expert with over 20 years of experience in Research and Development across different Domains and Industries. While working as a Faculty in IISc, she was credited with the creation of concepts for digital solutions for large scale population data collection and analytics solutions for data analysis.

She has also worked on Radiation Therapy Systems and Translational Research at Philips Research. She was also involved in content development and training for Multiple Corporates.

She was the Lead for Algorithm Development &Strategy in Philips Healthcare from 2007-2016.
