Haresh R. Dagale

Haresh Dagale is a Principal Research Scientist with the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering (DESE), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He works in Communication Networks and Embedded Systems areas. He is mainly interested in developing IoT solutions for Healthcare and SmartGrid applications. His research interests include security and reliability issues in Cyber-Physical Systems and enterprise networks.
He has guided more than 50 M Tech students for their final year projects. He has worked in various industry and government-sponsored projects, some of which are:

  • “Building a Cyber Physical System For healthcare application Over a Managed 6LoWPAN network using wearable devices”, sponsored by Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY), Government of India.
  • “Network Transparency Layer for Seamless IPv4 to IPv6 Migration” sponsored by Advanced Network Research Consortium (Boeing, HCL, Wipro, IISc).
  • “Zero Energy Building” sponsored by Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber Physical Systems, IISc Bangalore.

Haresh received his BE degree in Electronics from Bombay University in 1993 and M Sc (Engg) in 2001 from Indian Institute Science, Bangalore.
