Key patent granted for L2MRail’s innovation of ‘Cyber Signalling System’

July 23, 2021 : Another key patent is granted to L2MRail for its innovative, path breaking ‘Cyber Signalling System’, that has already been deployed in the world’s 6th largest steel plant at JSW Vijayanagara Works (JSW Steel Ltd.).

Co-founder and CTO, Prof. SK Sinha is the man behind the innovation. He informed that the innovation is remarkable in multiple ways. Incremental research and developement is going on to add so many more services/functionalities to the Cyber Signalling System. Prof Sinha further informed that L2MRail is receiving several enquiries from all over the world and that it is only a matter of time that this pathbreaking innovation changes the face of Industrial railway sidings.

Speaking on the occasion, the co-founder, Shri Srinivasa Rao Ganapa said that he dreamt of a wireless system for Indian Railways that is devoid of cables and trenches. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Mr. Rao worked in various capacities with the Indian Railways. He was the Joint Director & Head of the Southern Region Signalling & Communications Division of RDSO, Indian Railways. Co-founder, Mr. Rao further said, “today it is so much satisfying to me as a Signal Engineer to be part of the team for this great innovation namely “Cyber Signalling”. Cyber Signalling brings together Wireless Operation of Points, Wireless Axle Counter, Wireless User Interface and Private Cloud. A railway siding becomes Digital Railway Siding once it is equipped with Cyber Signalling System.
