He is also a recipient of many prestigious national and international awards. He is a world renowned expert in the domains of smart materials, structures and systems and Fracture Mechanics. During his time at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Dr. Dattaguru worked with the Space Technology researchers, including the former President of India, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Kota Harinarayana, Kasturi Rangan and R. Chidambaram. Prof. Vinoy is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He has received his Doctorate degree from the Pennsylvania State University, USA in 2002. Prior to joining IISc, he worked as a Researcher at the Pennsylvania State University and as a Scientist at the National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore. His research interests cover several topics in RF and microwave engineering including, computational electromagnetics, microwave antennas, RF circuits, RF MEMS, and metamaterials.
Prof. Umanand is a Professor in the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. His research activities are based on the broad scope of “reduction in rate of entropy rise”. In keeping with the above framework, his research work revolves around power and energy systems with an emphasis on societal benefits. Some of his significant Research work are Solar Cooking, Modelling Non Linear Electromagnetic Waves, Photovoltaics Integrated MicroGrid, Integrated Magnetics, Ballast Free Microhydel and Rimless wheel walker.
Prof. Prabhakar is a Principal Research Scientist with the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He works in the area of Networked Embedded Systems where he focuses on hardware system design, micro energy harvesting systems and power management algorithms. Prof. Prabhakar leads the effort in Zero Energy Networks Laboratory (Zenlab) at DESE, IISc, which implemented Publish-Subscribe and REST architecture protocols and adapted embedded IPv6 flavors such as 6LowPAN. A significant work in embedded space is at the MAC layer, layer 3 and other protocols.
Haresh is a Principal Research Scientist with the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He areas of specialization are Communication Networks and Embedded Systems. He is mainly interested in developing IoT solutions for Healthcare and Smart Grid applications. His research interests include security and reliability issues in Cyber Physical Systems and enterprise networks. He has the rich experience of working in various industry and government sponsored projects. Haresh has received his B.E. degree in Electronics from Bombay University in 1993 and M.Sc. Thus I have experience in manufacturing, designing, maintenance, project management, and also dealing with foreign clients.

Ltd., focusing on validation and verification of mobile chipsets. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. Mr. Krishna Choudhary is an alumnus of Calcutta University with an MBA in Project Management. He has overall 20 years of working experience, out of which 16 years is with Railway Industry. He has the experience of executing the Railway/ Metro Railway Projects while working in domestic and MNC Consultancy firms.
Sneha is currently working as Scientist-C in L2M Rail. She has completed her Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sai Vidya Institute of Technology. She has completed her internship in L2M Rail. Sneha has presented a paper titled “ Power Coupling ad Modal Analysis of SPR based Gap Waveguides for Optical Sensing Applications” in IEEE SENSORS 2019 CONFERENCE, in Montreal, Canada. Her academic project was on Modelling and simulation of Distributed Feedback Lasers for Sensing Applications.
