Mr S J Krishna Prasad is Subject Matter Expert (Photonics) in Lab to market innovations private limited situated in Indian Institute of Science Bangalore and is Heading the division of Photonics. Mr. S J Krishna Prasad was Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore and was Head of department in Electronics and communication, PES Institute of Technology Bangalore. He has put up 30years of experience in teaching and around 12 years in research. He has submitted his doctoral work and on the verge of getting doctoral degree with specialization in FBG sensors deployment in medical diagnostics from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka state. He holds Master of Technology degree from SDM college of engineering Dharwad Karnataka state affiliated to VTU Belgaum and Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication from University of Mysore. He is permanent member of ISTE, senior member of IEEE, member IEEE(Photonics),member MDS(Movement Disorders Society) and Fellow of IETE. He has organized several workshops and rendered invited talks in electronics and photonics. He has published 20 articles in SJR, Scopus rated International Journals and presented 12 papers in IEEE and Scopus indexed national/international conferences and is an active researcher. He is reviewer of international journals in Scopus, SJR rated and SCI and for several IEEE indexed international conferences. He has executed consultancy projects and rendered ideas to project funding. He was internal Board of Examination member in MSRIT and actively involved in accreditation works of NBA and NAAC. Several of his projects and papers have won awards.His areas of interests are Optics, Optical Networks and Optical Sensors, Medical diagnostics, Pattern Recognition / Machine Learning, and design of Operating Systems.
